The castle of Vejer de la Frontera:
At the highest point of Vejer, from the castle tower, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the village and the surrounding nature. The castle, as it is today to visit, was built in the 10th and 11th centuries on the previous castle ruins of Arab origin.
La Iglesia del Divino Salvador:
The church of Vejer de la Frontera is located in the higher part of the city and is one of the historical and artistic sights of Andalusia.
Originally, today’s parish church was a Moorish mosque. The upper part was rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries during the Baroque period and still consists of Moorish walls and apse.
